Do these three things on day one
- Put the main node out in the open, near the middle of the house if the modem allows. Not in a cabinet or behind the TV.
- Place each extra node about halfway between the main node and the dead spot. A node placed in the dead spot has no good signal to pass on.
- Run a speed test next to each node while you can still return the kit. If a far node gets much less than the main one, move it closer or wire it.
